His path into resale luxury real estate ran through development sales; after starting as a real estate docent for Keystone Resorts in 1996, he joined IMI, a Greenville, South Carolina sales and marketing firm, and spent the following years running presale strategy and sales for 22 residential developments — Stratton, Mont-Tremblant, Vail, Keystone, Snowshoe, Beaver Creek, Lake Tahoe, Phoenix, Houston, San Diego, Poipu, and Baja — participating in more than $2.5 billion dollars of transaction volume before he ever listed a resale home.
That work brought him to San Diego, where he served as the original director of sales for Santaluz, the 850+ home private golf community in 92127. He sold all 308 custom estate lots and directed marketing for the remaining 550 designer homes. He has been active in that community since its first day of sales.
Today he represents buyers and sellers from $1.2M to $20M+ across Santaluz and Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Solana Beach, La Jolla, and Carmel Valley, with secondary coverage in Poway, Carlsbad, Encinitas, and Oceanside. He is known for pricing realism over salesmanship, for staying personally involved at every stage of a transaction, and for telling clients the uncomfortable truth about the market rather than the comfortable story.
