Whoever reads this needs to know that my husband and I had been serious house-hunting in this area twice in the past 4 years, to no avail. We decided to throw our hat in the ring one Sunday afternoon in Jun, while sitting on our deck in Texas. I emailed Rovithis Realty, who had helped us hunt in the past. Not even 45 minutes later, this wonderfully spunky and intelligent lady gave me a call to talk about our wants/needs/timeline. In a matter of minutes, Kim had set up a website with houses in the area just for us. Unknowingly, we were caught in the middle of a cash-based war for homes. Sellers were selling WAY above appraised value, and buyers were handing out wads of cash. After a few bids were swept up from under us by cash buyers or better offers, Kim got down and dirty. She taught my husband and I how to sweeten the pot on our offers - because we WANTED to. At times Kim even held our hand through the long distance purchase. After viewing what felt like 50 homes in the area, we were spent. Kim offered to go to viewings for us, do virtual tours so as to not interrupt our days as much, and she kept on plugging away. I honestly don't know when she sleeps. Ultimately, we landed a home that met all of our criteria, and is in impeccable shape!
