Born and raised in Southern California to a Marine/Fireman and a stay at home mom. Kim Cocuzza has the passion for community, people and properties she serves. Her parents taught her the selfless value of serving others and the value of lifelong relationships.
While competing in cross country events on horseback or on foot, she was a member of the track team during high school and managed to work at the local market along with volunteering at the local therapeutic riding academy. After graduating in 1983 she attended Moorpark college. She was the Credit Manager at Blue Star Ready Mix and Southern Pacific Milling company. She later became part of the homeowner advocacy team at Bank of America to help struggling property owners go through the short sale or loan modification process. She again found a passion for helping people through these difficult situations.
In the early 1990’s she started a family and had 3 children. Her two oldest children shared the love of horses and barrel racing became the family sport. She bought and remodeled 3 homes and developed a passion for home improvement.
Kim took her passion for helping people and remodeling to the real estate world and became a REALTOR in 2002. She received numerous awards and built a reputation for outstanding client relations and helping buyers and sellers in Los Angeles and Ventura county. In 2018 she and her husband Phil, relocated to the Northern Phoenix area. She is now a licensed REALTOR in both Arizona and California. Phil is the owner of California Muscle Cars LLC and an accomplished NHRA racecar driver. Both Kim and son Blake also drive racecars and the family sport has moved from horses to horsepower. She is a volunteer board member of the New River/Desert Hills Water District and is well versed in unique properties. Most of her business is referral based. She has experience with everything from Luxury estates to land sales, car & horse properties, primary homes and Investment properties, first time, VA Buyers and anything in between. She’s been making dreams come true since 2002!
Kim is an avid hiker, loves to cook and entertain family and friends.
