As a full time real estate professional, I serve the citizens of Statesville, Mooresville, Troutman, Barium Springs, Harmony, Union Grove and Stony Point with all their real estate needs. I think outside the box to help both my clients who are selling, as well as those desiring to purchase. My goal is to help guide the residents of Iredell County and those desiring to relocate here with in-depth knowledge of the county. Iredell County is one of the largest counties in the state of North Carolina. It requires someone dedicated to just that area. No property is too small or too large, from the country setting to the lake, I work with them all.
As stated earlier, I strongly feel that any professional should continually learn and improve their skills and knowledge. I received my license as a real estate agent in 2002 and immediately started studying for my real estate brokers license, which I also received in the later part of 2002. At the time I was studying for these, I was a full time Paralegal, and also held a Mortgage Brokers license in the state of NC. In November of 2003, I decided it was time to go out on my own and if it was to be, it was up to me. I joined Exit Realty Statesville, and thus began my passion and career as a full time Realtor. I received my ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) designation, which only fueled my passion to begin working on the GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute Designation), which took as many hours to obtain as the real estate license did, including nine exams. I also hold the designation of Workforce Housing Specialist, At Home With Diversity, Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource designations. I hold the Accredited Home Staging and Feng Shui accreditations. I am continually attending trainings on technology and other subjects that could improve the way I do business. One of my favorite trainings was discovering the different personality types and how each of the personalities act, and what they need from you their Realtor. This has given me the insight into how to best guide and assist my clients in the home buying or selling process.
Sounds like I spend many hours working on my career, which I do, but I also enjoy spending time at home with my family and friends. I am married to my high school sweetheart; Mitchell Privette and we’ve been married over 35 years. We have a daughter, Hannah. I talked about a lifetime of knowledge of the area, that’s because I was born and raised right here in Statesville and have continued to live here and raise my family here. I enjoy photography, canoeing, camping with my family, baking, cake decorating and traveling. I especially love cruising, whether it be to Alaska or the Caribbean, no one has to ask me twice to go on a cruise. I attend St. Mark Baptist Church, where I have held many positions and have enjoyed each one.
