Born in Opp, AL, I launched my career after graduating from the University of Alabama in 1984 and obtaining my Real Estate License in 1985. My journey took a significant turn in 1994 when I transitioned full-time into real estate, setting the stage for a rewarding career. In Decatur, AL, my dedication to real estate and the community has been unwavering. I've twice served as the President of the Morgan County Association of REALTORS® in 2007 and 2020 and was honored as the 2009 REALTOR® of the Year. My commitment extends beyond sales; I was the 2018/2019 Chair of ARPAC Trustees, learning firsthand how closely real estate intertwines with politics. Awards like the 2018 Alabama REALTORS® for Children and the 2021 Alabama REALTOR® of the Year underline my passion. However, my commitment doesn’t end with real estate. I am deeply involved in the community through Westminster Presbyterian and organizations like PACT, Mosaic Mentoring, and the Carnegie Visual Arts Center. My efforts were nationally recognized when President George H. W. Bush honored me as the Nation's Volunteer of the Day on April 7, 2006. Now leading the Kim Hallmark Real Estate Group and co-owning RE/MAX Platinum with my husband Jeff, I am eager to continue making real estate dreams come true in Decatur, Athens and surrounding North Alabama.
