Kim is the absolute best. We would not have found our second home on the coast had it not been for Kim. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the 30A area and in addition to showing us the homes we picked out on-line suggested a few others after she got to know us including the house we ended up purchasing--which is perfect for us. Kim was incredibly patient with usand helped make every step of the process as seamless and easy as possible. She was always responsive and is a lovely person. Our experience with Kim Bauman has been nothing short of Amazing!! Looking for a new home can be a challenging experience, buying and getting a house built for you when you live nearly 800 miles away seems daunting to say the least! Luckily, we experienced nothing of the sort. Our first meeting with Kim was long distance via phone and she took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for in a new home. Since we were coming from far away to look at houses we had a short window of a few days to look at properties and hopefully find our dream home near the ocean. We gave her a couple MLS listing to give her an idea of what interested us and from that she created a detailed portfolio of a dozen plus properties for us to look at on our first visit. The portfolio she created for us was really great, with full MLS print ups of the properties she planned to show us, all arranged in order to minimize travel around the entire 30A area. It was a long day and but we were able to narrow our choices down to just a couple properties. After showing us a lot and floor plan in the Watersound Origins, we were sold!! We had a finite time to get all the build out details figured out before we flew back home and Kim was with us every step of the way! Although this was not our first house purchase for my wife and I, we felt that Kim took care of us as if we were her only customer and it was our very first home purchase. Since we live far away, it wasn't going to be feasible to make multiple trips to the area during the building of our home but that didn't matter. Kim kept us updated on all aspects of the build and it's progress. Over the course of 8 months, Kim would make regular visits to the construction site and took great pictures to send to us. Thar was so nice and really kept us excited about our new home being able to see the progress as it went along! On Closing Day, Kim spent the whole day with us, from walk-through to the paperwork.
