Bottomline: Kenya is the best. Contact her *now* if you’re looking to purchase in Los Angeles. I’d been dreaming of buying a little corner of the city for years, so much so that I made a needs/wants spreadsheet a year ahead of when I knew I’d be able to consider buying. On that spreadsheet was a tab of real estate agents I’d be interested in working with, but something stood out about Kenya. Her site stated that she was excited to work with first time buyers, and there was a warmth about her that jumped out of the screen. She’s the only agent I needed to meet to know that she was my girl. I was very open about where I was willing to purchase, but she dragged the truth out of me; I wanted to stay in the area I was currently in - Larchmont-adjacent. I didn’t think it was an option at my <$500k budget! I met with Kenya the first week of January. I closed on my dream (under budget!) condo in Hancock Park in mid-March. WHO DOES THAT? Kenya does. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention her incredible staff and cohorts. Her assistant Maggie is impeccable. She checked in on me often, sent reminders, asked questions, and was on top of calling agents about properties I was interested in. Kenya’s recommendation for a mortgage loan officer was spot-on as well. My only complaint about working with Kenya was that the journey to homeownership ended too soon. I was promised happy hours in which we’d gossip and chit-chat about open houses, but Kenya was simply too good at her job! I can’t wait to work with Kenya again, and I’ll be referring all of my friends to her.
