I don't know how we would have gotten through this house sale without Kelly Higgins Ours was an estate sale with many complications both procedural and emotional. Kelly was a steady and sensitive hand, stepping in to help with an assortment of tasks that are far beyond the usual real estate agent services, and to offer great advice on everything related to the sale. She was always available at a moment's notice to answer questions or even to meet contractors if we weren't able to. She priced our house well for the market and it sold for over slightly over asking price within about a week. When asked, she recommended wonderful, reasonably priced contractors and small improvements that were very cost-effective. There were a few upgrades that I thought might be necessary to get full market value, but they would have been quite costly, and she suggested alternatives that were a fraction of the cost of what I was considering, while still maximizing the marketability of the house. I always felt that she had our best interests at heart. The closing was a little tricky due to its timing around the holidays. With a tight timeline, she came with other family members on a holiday weekend to help us with the clean-out! Kelly is the consummate real estate professional, equally adept at navigating the business side of the deal as well as honoring the emotional needs of her clients. I am so grateful we had Kelly to guide us through this occasionally fraught journey in our family's life.
