Not just a transaction
After moving to Florida and renting for a few years to be near my wife's parents, my wife and I decided to look for a home. Through a family friend and through my father-in-law, Kayla was recommended. With both of us having met Kayla while she was helping my in-laws purchase a home, it was an easy choice. From our first introduction, she was professional and courteous and wanting to help us find the perfect house to make a home. Our initial meeting proved we had made the right choice, Kayla was gathering information on where we wanted to be, which was close to my wife's parents and what we wanted/needed to have in the house to make it desirable. Kayla came back that and the next day with multiple options for us to view and tour. Shortly thereafter we found the house we wanted and the process began. Now, with every process there are idiosyncrasies that a person new to the process is not going to understand and probably question. I will say, I am that guy, I questioned everything. From larger questions to the seemingly insignificant details, it is just my personality. Kayla was terrific, she answered the phone or returned our calls and would explain, in detail and layman's terms, the answer. When she didn't have it right away, get back to us as soon as she could with an answer or a decision. Kayla took the time to look at this process from our perspective which was very helpful. From, looking online to touring houses, to making an offer, then a counter offer, the agreement, the acceptance, each step was discussed so we knew what was happening and what we could or should expect. When something veered left or right, Kayla was level headed, discussed the issue or potential issue and offered solutions on how to proceed. She was calm, confident and her communication was excellent. Your interests are put first with Kayla and you get a personal touch that make this process much less "transactional". We would absolutely recommend Kayla to anyone looking to purchase a home.
