My first time home buying experience was phenomenal. Katrina gave her undivided attention with ever encounter. She was patient as the housing industry is extremely complex in the current pandemic. She explained and answered any and all questions that I had with no problem. In comparison with others that I knew was buying a home at the same time, having a Realtor and Mortgage Loan Officer all in one was an extraordinary advantage compared to having more than one person. We live in Maryland and had been renting our house since 2014. In June of 2019, I contacted Katrina about selling our home. To be honest, it was not a great time to sell because it was not ready, we had to do quite a bit of work to repair the damage from the renters. Katrina said no problem she walked us through the process and the timing in which she would step into the process. So, in June and July, we made all of the repairs and ensured that the home was in a move-in-ready state per Katrina's checklists of the best and quickest way to sell. Because, I am a professor in MD, we had to return to MD the first week in August. We gave Katrina the keys and asked her to help us by doing what she thought would get the home sold the quickest. We had a required price that we were willing to sell for and it was higher than the appraisal price, but we knew the value of our work and our home. Katrina placed the home on the market in September. We had many offers under what we were willing to accept, We denied so many that we had several points where we thought about taking it off the market. However, Katrina is steady, she communicates and soothes fears to a point that we were in December and just decided that our faith and Katrina would make this happen. After Christmas, we had an offer for what we were asking, however, after the potential buyer's appraisal the buyer wanted to pay less. We again declined, the buyer went up a few thousand and we said no, Katrina did not question or discourage our decision but she continued to support us with the truth. After the new year, the buyer agreed to the price we were asking but only if we repaired two minuscule items and we said no. On January, 5th 2020 Katrina and the buyer's realtor had resolved the final issue and we closed on our home from Maryland. We never had to return to the home from August to December but she ensured that the external grounds were maintained and that the house was shown often and never dismissed our goal
