We had lived in our original home for over 30 years and knew it was time to downsize. We knew Kathy Anderson by reputation and contacted her. She was very interested in our story and what we wanted to do and why. She worked with us on selling our home by reviewing other home sales of comparible size in the area and made note of all the new amenities we added. I learned that "staging" was now an important feature. We let Kathy know of a couple of the areas were we wanted to find our downsized home within our price range. She went to work and shortly we were receiving several emails each day of possibilities. The ones we we thought we liked we did drive bys to look and the home and neighborhood. If that test was passed then Kathy would set up a walk through. As my wife and I were looking at all the "nice" features, Kathy was looking at things like foundation, sumps, furnace, electric service, seepage, general construction, etc. More that once she steered us away from homes that would have been money pits for us. Once we settled on the home we wanted on a nice quiet street, Kathy and her team went to work with help and advice as far as finance, insurance, attorney, home warranty (valuable)along with the whole document signing process at County Hall. Kathy and her team were great. Though this experience we became good friends with Kathy and remain so today.
