I'm a first time home buyer and was referred to Kathy through a friend. I am so lucky I found her! I was really intimidated by the Bay Area market, plus I was buying on my own with a budget of ~$500-550, not very high for this market. I talked to a few agents early on who put a ton of pressure to make offers before I was ready, but not Kathy. From our first conversation, she was committed to finding me a home I'd be happy in, and it showed. She listened to my initial list of needs/desires and adapted to my feedback as we went. When we saw houses together, she pointed out all kinds of things I would have missed. She has a keen eye and a lot of experience. If I was interested in a home, she would immediately dig right into it and get all the information she could. She is just incredibly thorough. It was so great to know I was working with someone I could trust. Our offer ended up getting accepted, was within my budget, and I am now in the process of moving in! The place even somehow fit the bill of having a detached, finished building for me to use as a dance studio. Wow. I would recommend Kathy to anyone, but especially first time buyers.
