Kat was amazing to work with and everything one could ask for in a real estate agent. My wife & my story in searching for a home actually starts about a year before we met Kat. As first time home buyers, we had spent countless hours working with a previous agent, touring homes that did not match our needs, and having multiple offers rejected. our spirt was beginning to break. We were almost ready to give up on our dream of home ownership, until we made the switch to Kat.Within the first phone call we had with Kat, she understood exactly what we were looking for in a home. Not once in the process did she ever make us feel like our dreams were unattainable or we were being too picky. She knew how to ask the right questions even when we didn't have the vocabulary to express what we wanted. At the first house we toured together, we were pleasantly surprised to see that not only did Kat arrive on time, she was early and even unlocked the door and had all the lights turned on for us. It felt exactly how it looked on the TV shows and was supposed to all along.Another thing we really appreciated about Kat was the efficient use of our time. Every house she sent us matched what we were looking for. She never pushed us to tour a house we knew we weren't interested.. She was also very accomodating to our schedule, the 7am tours worked great for us and allowed to be the first tour to see multiple great houses.Most importantly, Kat got us into the perfect house after only ~2 months of meeting her. This is after almost a year of looking and almost giving up. When it came time to make an offer, Kat proved to be a shrewd negotiator. She proved the value a real estate agent could bring by using her expertise to close the deal even when we didn't have the resources as other buyers. To top it all off, the closing process went extremely smooth, thanks to the great connections she had in terms of our inspector, contracter, and closing attorney.
