Kathy Is a Treasure

Kathy just completed the sale of our parents' home for us -- three daughters, all of whom live out of state and were unable to be present for any part of the sale. The times I texted my sisters to say "Thank goodness we chose Kathy" and "Kathy is a treasure" are innumerable. She handled EVERYTHING, including multiple trips in person to the home to deal with hassles like a badly stuck cellar door. Every time we needed something -- landscaping, plumber to repair the garbage disposal, paving people to fix the sidewalks, guy to check the old termite damage, so many other helpers and services -- she knew the right person, contacted them for us, and got it done. On top of all that, she suggested an asking price significantly higher than the other agents we contacted, and she was right. The house sold quickly, over asking. The moment Kathy walked into the house, she noticed and appreciated its unique features; her experience, and also her love of architecture, were plain! And finally, the closing was seamless -- again, even though none of us were able to be there. Kathy herself brought the check to our parents' bank and deposited it for us. The last thing I'll add is that she was also wonderful talking to our father on the phone and explaining details whenever he was confused about any part of the process. If you are selling a house and you're doing it from out of town -- choose Kathy!
