Kathleen has been a real estate specialist in our neighborhood for a number of years, so I was aware of her before I met her. I could see that she was a very active professional in the neighborhood but didn’t know much else. Once she became involved in the sale of our house, I saw her in action up close. Kathleen’s diligent work on our behalf began the moment we met and she continues even now to check in after the sale. Right away she advised me of changes that I should make in the house to attract more buyers and increase the selling price. She went shopping with me to choose just the right lighting fixtures and even paint color to update the overall appearance of the house. She hired a professional photographer to photograph the house to its best advantage. The day the house was listed she walked miles throughout our area passing out flyers, and inviting neighbors to stop by for a happy hour. She held open houses the next two days attracting 20-30 families. She has a charm about her that is engaging and reassuring to buyers as well as sellers. If she ever became discouraged, it certainly never showed. She is a bundle of energy and constant cheerfulness with a deep understanding of real estate. When anxiety would invade my thoughts regarding some issue or other, I could text her and get an immediate response to reassure me. If her response was not received within 1 minute, she would apologize! In the end, we had four offers within the first 3 days and signed a contract with a buyer within the first week. Our closing went smoothly with no surprises. Selling a house you’ve lived in for 40 years and where you raised your children is difficult emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Kathleen saved the day. We did it together with a wonderful result for all parties. If she is available in your area, consider yourself lucky and call her when your time to sell arrives!
