I partnered with Kathleen Benton and her real estate team to sell my home in south phoenix in June 2018. It was an older home with definite evidence of its age and use. Kathleen laid out a sales plan that projected a sales price for the home in its current state as well as a list of potential renovations and upgrades to place it in the upper end of the market for that neighborhood. Although the projected sales price seemed a bit optimistic to me, I proceeded with the renovation and upgrades. The house was under contract within days and sold right in the middle of the window Kathleen predicted. The return on the invested repairs and upgrades was roughly 50% for me, and a much nicer house for the new owner. Kathleen demonstrated an excellent knowledge of the local market and valued features for homes in the neighborhood. Her staff supported with advertising, open house, and the entire contract process. In spite of a last minute finance challenge with the new buyer, Kathleen and her team kept me protected through the contract period and was able to work with the lender to close the sale.
