Kate has assisted me in selling, buying, buying again, and then selling again! Most recently she helped me prepare and list my home for sale, and I honestly don't know how I could have done it without her and her team! She is a wealth of knowledge, and has so many connections with people, such that any referral you may need, Kate will know somebody! We listed my home in February, and within two weeks had a very respectable offer! Here I am thinking that this is going to be a smooth and easy sale, but to my disappointment, the buyer faced some challenges and had to back out. Kate was wonderfully calming, and reasurring, and helped me to relax. I trusted Kate's expertise, and knowledge of the process, which made it easier to find the patience to wait for another buyer. It took a little longer than I hoped, but another offer did come in, and after some negotiations, we settled on a mutually agreeable price. The inspection went smoothly, and then came the appraisal. Poor Kate had to be the one to call me to tell me that the appraisal came in low! UGH!! Back to the negotiating table we went, and with a lot of discussion, and research on our own of comparable sales, Kate was able to present the buyers with a convincing argument for why we felt the price we had agreed upon was fair, and ultimately we sold for that price. Without Kate and her team, I think the process would have been significantly more stressful! I find it hard to imagine working with anyone other than Kate, and I would never hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. I cannot fathom that there is another agent out there that goes above and beyond the way that Kate does.

Kate Johnston is the ultimate professional. From the beginning of our experience to the final closing it was such a pleasant experience. Kate left no stone unturned and no questions or concerns unanswered. As first time home sellers we felt we were in very confident hands. Kate was up on the current local market, showing us all available comps, previous sales, and market trends. It was a lot of information but very informative. It helped us make the right decisions from how to prep the home, to staging, to the right price to ask and when to put the house on the market. We had a full offer in less that 28 hours from the time the house was listed. Kate was with us to the very end when the keys were handed over to the new owners. Before I start this review, I want to give a little bit of background knowledge. My husband and I are both totally blind. We wanted to move to a totally different state to be near family, and we also knew when we wanted to move. In March 2022, I called Kate and said that I wanted to move in late March early April 2023. I begin asking her questions, and she gave me advice on how to prepare my home for the sale and what the timeline needed to be. She also provided me with great references to painters, packers, who then provided, good movers, a handyman, etc. before we moved, she went over all of the paperwork that we need to do before, the sale. She also talk to us through all of the paperwork that would happen during the closing process and even what it would be like to get an offer and what that process would look like. From packing and moving to closing on the home, it was a very smooth transaction, and I’m very thankful. Kate did an amazing job with everything. I honestly could not have asked for a smoother process. Also, she knows really good restaurants in the Seattle area.
