About Kat

As President of the Company, Kat McAfee Miller is the managing Broker tasked with overseeing every aspect of our three offices while constantly assessing systems and procedures to ensure optimum results. The McAfee legacy is well known in Northeast Florida. Bob and Ann McAfee founded the first RE/MAX brokerage in the area in 1986 thus changing the real estate landscape. Their drive and determination brought a single office to the forefront of market success and the growth has continued ever since. With 3 brokerages spread across Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra and Orange Park, the area is well served by the founding family. While keeping her hand in real estate sales and even gaining her Mortgage Broker’s license, Kat delved into a different field utilizing her degree in Marketing from Babson College. However, she always knew she would return to the company she grew up in. A corporate marketing manager for almost a decade, Kat developed a special skill set in the analysis and implementation of branding in a myriad of mediums. While she is well aware that RE/MAX requires no branding assistance, each individual brokerage does. Independently owned and operated is more than just a disclaimer to Kat. She prides herself on raising the status of the Specialists brand to the highest level possible. Her “people first” attitude, one shared by the entire McAfee family, is what truly separates her from the typical administrator. Kat sees the whole picture, not just the outcome but also the process and the people that enable it. Bob McAfee has often said that this company is anchored on the principle of The Golden Rule. Kat embraces that canon on a daily basis with agents, customers, vendors and employees.
