Karolyn Wold

I was extremely fortunate to have Karolyn Wold and her partner Suzanne Parmalee as my realtors. They spent an enormous amount of time before listing the home in prepping it. Out went all of my man-cave stuff, and in came a pickup load of modern, trendy accessories that made the house look so much more livable to today's buyer. They also offered valuable advice to help me make decisions. We had an open house the first day the house was listed on their website. The first couple in the door made a full price offer and the house was sold! What a relief. Having the right realtor team is all that it takes. And there is no better team than these two ladies.

She is very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to help out, even bringing her own tool kit to help. Very honest and trustworthy. She became a friend and made every effort to help me with the sale and my move. Called the contractors herself to schedule repairs that were requested in closing.

Karolyn is knowledgeable, extremely pleasant to work with, and a strong advocate & negotiator. I had the pleasure of working with her to both buy a new home and sell my old. She remained actively involved throughout the process, made valuable suggestions & recommendations, and helped make the entire experience very smooth. I recommend her without hesitation. She is the best!

I am not familiar with Portland so was looking for recommendations. The first realtor only show the listing I found online. He did not listen to my requests, nor have any listing recommendations from MLS which should have more recent listings. He just wanted me to tell him how much money I have, and he will only write offers above asking price. I was really turn off and was going to change my mind about buying in Portland. Luckily my realtor in San Francisco found Karolyn Wold. Karolyn is most delightful to work with. She is very patient, detail, and most importantly, she listen. I had provided a list of minimum requirements vs nice to have. She came back with a list of recommendations. She even have her own mobile app, where I can browse the latest MLS. I found 70 homes and filtered down to 30+ homes. She printed each listing and prepare the comp for them. Since I wanted to see condos, she did the research for assessments. Karolyn patiently drove me around to see most of the homes. She even brought her husband along in areas where it was difficult to find parking. I cannot say enough great things about Karolyn. I made 3 trips to Portland and finally bought a condo. I had to leave the country at close of escrow due to family emergency. Karolyn, took over to help me co-ordinate the cleanup of the condo. That took away a lot of stress as while I was overseas. Karolyn is really a GEM of a realtor.
