Karin Wilson isn’t just selling homes — she’s Selling Vegas.
A third-generation real estate professional and Las Vegas resident since 1991, Karin brings a rare depth of experience to every client she represents. Real estate is something she grew up around, with both her grandmother and mother in the business before her.
Before becoming licensed in 2001, Karin built a professional foundation that gives her clients a perspective most agents simply do not have. One of her biggest advantages came from working for Champion Homes in the construction office, directly on the homebuilding side. There, she learned how a home is built from the ground up — from lot grading and each stage of construction to trade sequencing, bids, buyer options, upgrades, finishes, and final details. That builder-side experience gives her valuable insight with both new construction and resale homes, because she understands how homes are put together and what details matter.
Karin later worked with Sunrise Colony, where she built the design database used for designer options at the Red Rock Country Club and Siena Golf Course community design centers. She then moved into commercial construction as a plans coordinator for Martin-Harris Construction before advancing to junior estimator with Korte-Bellew, now The Korte Company. Along the way, she learned to read plans, understand construction details, and evaluate property from a more informed point of view.
Karin also brings a strong marketing and communications background from her years in media relations for major Las Vegas sporting and special events, including NHRA, NASCAR, SCORE off-road racing, and the early years of the Las Vegas Bowl. She wrote media releases, press releases, race results, and newspaper-style articles for local and national media outlets, coordinated interviews, conducted interviews, and managed public-facing communication under deadline. That experience sharpened the writing, promotion, organization, presentation, and project coordination skills she uses every day to market homes and guide clients.
After becoming licensed, Karin built her early real estate career at Century 21, where she worked her way into leadership as a sales manager while also running a successful team. She trained agents, taught classes, helped resolve agent issues, negotiated through challenges, and managed the behind-the-scenes problem solving that keeps deals moving forward. During the market shift and short-sale years, she later became Director of Short Sales at Nevada Real Estate Services, handling complex files for agents across multiple offices.
Today, Karin uses her full background — construction, new homes, resale, contracts, communication, marketing, leadership, negotiation, and real-life Las Vegas experience — to help buyers, sellers, investors, seniors, first-time buyers, and relocating clients make smart, confident moves throughout the valley.
Karin holds the SRES® designation, Seniors Real Estate Specialist®, which helps her better serve clients age 50+ and their families through major transitions such as downsizing, selling a longtime home, moving into a retirement community, or navigating estate and probate-related sales. She also holds the At Home With Diversity® certification, reflecting her commitment to serving clients from all backgrounds with respect, professionalism, and care.
With hundreds of homes sold, Karin is known for her direct communication, deep local knowledge, strong negotiation, and personal approach. She treats her clients like family, while bringing the experience, perspective, and problem-solving skills needed to protect their interests every step of the way.
For Karin, real estate is more than a transaction. It is about helping people understand the market, make confident decisions, and feel at home in the city she has lived, worked, marketed, represented, and loved for more than three decades.
