Her pleasant and welcoming message reflected the genuine and kind personality that we would get to know in our 3-month journey, in search of a vacation rental condo in the Kihei-area. We benefitted from Karen’s extensive knowledge of the condo and single-family home market, both inventory and process, and with its Hawaii/Maui peculiarities. Because of her long experience and her pleasant personality, Karen has good rapport with a lot of the local real estate players, which helps with scheduling viewing and with negotiations after making offers. She was always willing to talk to us even on her days off. Karen has been on Maui for a long time and you can tell she cares for the island and the people. She is aware of the hardships that some islanders have to contend with, due to the rising real estate values. She does her best to pay back, by working for the local population, by spreading Aloha.
