Karen Scott
My wife contacted Karen regarding homes for rent in Corona, CA. She showed us some single family residences as well as some mobile homes for rent. Then she mentioned that we may qualify for a mortgage loan for mobile homes for sale in a park in which the land would be included in the purchase. She recommended a lender and encouraged us to talk to him and possibly apply for a loan. Our credit was in bad shape, so I was skeptical about us getting a loan, but it was worth a shot if her lender might be able to help us. We spoke with her lender and completed a loan application. The lender pre-approved us for a loan. Karen showed us a brand new mobile home for sale. We liked it a lot, but there was another one for sale in the neighborhood that my wife wanted to look at. Karen told us that it was in escrow, so she couldn't show it to us. After the weekend, Karen contacted my wife and told her that the property she wanted to look at fell out of escrow, and that we should come see it right away if we were still interested. So, we dropped everything and drove to the property. Karen showed us the home and highlighted some of the special features inside and out. My wife fell in love with the kitchen from the get go. It was spacious, had plenty of cabinet/storage space, and newer appliances that would be included in the sale. That was it, we were sold. Karen asked if we wanted her to write up an offer and present it to the seller's agent that night. We said yes. That was a Monday. Karen called us on Thanksgiving Day to let us know that the seller's had accepted our offer. As stated earlier, our credit was in bad shape so we had to overcome some hurdles to satisfy the underwriter. This is where Karen, her lender, and others REALLY went above and beyond to help us satisfy the requirements to close the sale by reducing significant portions of their commissions and/or gifting us the funds to get us over the finish line. Karen is a godsend! Our thanks always. God bless you!
