I would give Karen 10 Stars if it was possible! She is absolutely amazing. She has been working with our family for about 9 years on a property that has some challenges, and stood out from her peers from the very beginning. I interviewed 3 agents for the listing, and had a couple of specific questions I wanted answered about the market that didn't fall into a standard output from the databases used by Realtors. Karen was the only one who actually answered my specific questions, even though she had to work to get the data assembled in a different way to provide the answers. The others just gave me some boilerplate information. Karen's attention to detail, combined with an amazing work ethic, has made all the difference throughout the years as she has found us two tenants and most recently a buyer for our property - obtaining an offer at $21K above asking price! She has incredible knowledge of the local real estate market, as well as local economic conditions and stays up to date on issues both current and that are in planning stages which may affect your transaction. She also researches and vets potential tenants and buyers, to make sure we aren't wasting our time on people who lack the ability to execute the transaction. As a non-local seller, I relied on Karen to handle many tasks during the contract period because I couldn't be at the property, and she handled every single one flawlessly, going far above and beyond what other agents would do. In summary, I highly recommend Karen Fate for any real estate needs, and I wouldn't participate in any real estate transaction in the greater Tampa area without her involvement. Karen sold my house the first day she listed it in MLS...the first showing...for 10K over asking price plus a short closing! Cant't get any better than that ! Five years age she sold my mother's house about a week after she listed it for me, for asking price. Both experiences were phenomenal and Karen is extremely professional.
