We had no idea what we were doing when we bought our house. We worked with Karen and Alyssa at the recommendation of a friend, and it was a wonderful experience. They were open and trustworthy and very experienced. We were able to talk to Karen about our longterm plans, and things like renovation potential, and probable issues with properties we looked at. She has owned, bought, sold, and renovated multiple times in her own life, and that was really valuable knowledge for us. She wasn’t super familiar with the area we ended up buying in, but did the research, and was so knowledgeable of the process, generally, that everything went very smoothly for us. Karen’s experience is what got us our house - she crafted an offer for us that beat out competing ones, even without spending more money in the end. Karen Davis has a lot of integrity, is a hard worker and knows her business. She got our house on the market quickly, and even with a few challenges along the way, got it sold on time and over price. She has good problem-solving and communication skills. For example, once the house went up for a sale, a neighbor emerged with a complaint he had never voiced to us during many years in the neighborhood. She quickly took the right steps to solve the problem and communicated politely and effectively with the neighbor. We also had a small leak that was discovered during a showing of the house. Once again, Karen and her partner agent were able to diagnose the problem and get a plumber in right away to fix it. When we had a difference of opinion on one aspect of the sale, she was flexible enough to accept differences. She is friendly and a “real person,” not a real estate stereotype. I recommend her!

Karen and her partner, Allyssa, were two of the best realtors we have ever dealt with. They were respectful of our needs and very professional in their handling of our listing and the resulting sale. During these Covid-19 times, they always wore masks and made sure our house was safe when others were there. They had excellent techniques for marketing our home from the photographs of the unit and grounds to individual "talking point" cards throughout which highlighted special features of our particular place. They walked us through each phase of the sale and kept us up to date as the sale was progressing. We would highly recommend both Karen and Allysa and their agency. Karen is an awesome agent! We used her for both a purchase of a new home and the sale of our old home. She put together an offer within hours of us seeing the house we ended up buying, and worked very well with the seller’s agent, and quickly hit it off with the seller as well. She made our old house look like a million bucks - literally! I was extremely impressed with her dedication to making the process for both the purchase and sale run as smoothly as possible for us, her professionalism, and her high level of attention to detail in making sure everything was just right. She has put together a fantastic team working with her. The woman she recommended for arranging the financing for our purchase was super-responsive and very experienced and knowledgeable, and came up with a creative idea to make the deal happen. Her recommendations for other professionals to help get the old house ready to sell were spot-on, did terrific work and were easy to work with. She spent a lot of time with the interior painter coming up with colors for various rooms, which ended up looking perfect. She worked with a gardener to get the yard spiffed up, and even got down on her hands and knees to install sod to fill in holes in the yard. The woman she hired as a stager did an incredible job. She had a terrific photographer, and despite his fantastic work, she had a few other ideas for photos that he did not include (which showed off certain special aspects of the house), so she took some additional shots herself and made sure they got into the online listing. She and her business partner did a lot of research to come up with a realistic asking price for the old house, taking into account up-to-the-minute market data. She kept us calm during the inevitable bumps in the road on the way to the closing, and was professional and friendly and very responsive throughout the entire transaction and beyond. I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is definitely a rock star.!

Working with Karen and Alyssa on the sale of our house was wonderful. They were great with helping us stage the house and wrote an ad that attracted buyers to our open house. They worked with us on coming up with a price we were comfortable with. They were very supportive and flexible when the unexpected happened (the roof leaking 5 days before the listing date). They even helped with some of the cosmetic touches needed to get the house to the place where it showed at its best! The offer and acceptance process went smoothly and I really felt that they understood us, knew how to market the house effectively, and brought a personal touch to the staging and showing.
