After graduating from high school in 2004, my mom decided she wanted to move to the ‘Horse Capital of the World,’ and was set to go to college in Florida, so we flew in and spent a week in the area looking at pretty much every horse property in Marion or Levy county that could work – it was a crazy market and properties were selling fast! This was my first practical experience with real estate and the Ocala area, which piqued my interest in real estate.
After that, I moved to Tallahassee to attend FSU (Go Noles!), returning to Ocala on holiday breaks and in the summer. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and pursued a career in corporate retail, buying apparel for a major retailer in Jacksonville for the next eight years.
After years of corporate struggle, I wanted a change that would allow me to use my negotiating and problem-solving skill set to help others, so moving into real estate was a natural fit. So in 2016, I leaped and moved full-time into real estate.
Since then, I’ve focused on helping buyers and sellers navigate their real estate options to generate their ideal outcomes, whatever that may be. No one’s story is the same, and my favorite part of selling real estate is that it genuinely helps people to transition from one phase of their lives to the next, and it is very fulfilling to be a part of that journey.
