Ever watch those house hunting shows and wondering is there really a broker out there like that. Well she is right here in Stuart. I was doing a 1031 exchange from up north, so I have my share of selling and buying and it has been fun because of my broker up north. Was I going to findsomeone at least close. So lets back up 3 years ago. My wife and I went to an open house at our Condo complex (and yes we are those people that has to know what's happening in our complex ugh) and we meet Judy and had a great conversation. We left and said I have to remember her, she's a home run. So here we our, I sold one of investment properties and to reinvest here. I said I have to remember that person that I talked to 3 years earlier. After looking up names of who brokered properties in our complex there she was. I gave Judy a call and it was magic. Judy totally understood everything I needed and wanted no second guessing. So the journey begins. All that understanding of what I wanted,there was one problem, the market wasn't going to give us those boxes to check off. That is ok because Judy will make lemonade out of lemons. With the 1031 you have 45 days to find a house. We had put in about 5 bids on house that we end up losing but we didn't lose because of Judy's sound advice we were not going to overpay in a crazy market. We are now at day 40 and the clock is ticking. A house came on in mid afternoon. Judy got us in at 5 and we are the first to see the houe and as it turns out the last. I loved the house and Judy said we have to get the offer in tonight. We came up with good but fair offer and because of certain circumstances they excepted. And I truly got the best hous out of all the others we put offers on. Judys optimism and knowledge of Martin county, the real estate market and what if approach made this adventure better than any of those house hunter shows. Again thank you Judy Wickwire.
