In 2013, my husband and I realized it was time to sell the Florida condo I inherited from my parents. Knowing I needed a Real Estate Agent, one of our friends highly recommended Juan Ramos. I contacted him and told him about the apartment, what I had done to it and the selling price I would like to get. He checked out the area and the selling prices other similar units were selling for in the condo complex and e-mailed me links so that I could see pictures of other units that were on the market or already sold.
I flew down to Florida for a week to pack up some personal things, make sure the apartment was clean and make any minor repairs, if needed. The day before I left Florida to return to NY, Juan came over to see the apartment. He told me what to expect and the selling price I could get.
I was very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and his general demeanor. Since I did not plan to return for the closing, I signed papers authorizing Juan to handle everything.
Juan quickly found a buyer and we went to contract. Juan kept me advised every step of the way. Unfortunately, the prospective buyer couldn’t get the full amount of financing and the deal fell through.
That weekend, Juan got us another offer for the amount we wanted. This time for CASH (no more waiting for loan clearance) and a fast closing date.
Everything went very smoothly, and we are very grateful.
