To whomever may be interested, we are pleased to share these details of our recent experience with Mr. Juan Navia: My wife and I had no idea of the incredible journey we were starting when we decided to sell our house and buy another in March 2016. And in the end, this "letter of recommendation" should really be called a "letter of thanks". From that first handshake in March, to the final heart-felt hugs in June, Juan calmly and competently guided us through our sell-and-buy transactions. And through it all, Juan not only managed the emotional ups and downs of my wife and I, but of the other buyers, sellers, and brokers as well. Juan has a great sense of the "big picture"... the balance that is needed to make all parties happy with the deal. He did excellent research for us, recommended sensible strategies, and patiently explained the strange language and procedures and costs of real estate transactions. He monitored our deadlines perfectly, and -- importantly -- found creative ways to navigate us through roadblocks that would have been deal-killers. But perhaps Juan's most impressive quality is his sense of empathy: he listens, he understands, he communicates very well, and his positive attitude is unstoppable. For my wife and I, our real estate transactions were complicated, both emotionally and procedurally. And more than once, it seemed that our deals were dead.
