This was my first time buying a home, and it was an insane roller-coaster. All while we were searching for homes, I tragically lost my sister and was faced with my mother getting extremely sick, and my fiance and his mother in the middle of being evicted. It was the worst possible time to be buying a home in our lives, and I can say with 1000% certainty that without Josh's calm and experienced guidance, I would have lost my mind. Josh went to bat for us when we put in our first offer, helping us build an offer that was competitive, and when it wasn't accepted, he helped us build counters and battled it out with the seller for us. He worked with me to help us find our perfect home and we did! Josh did a virtual tour of the home for us, checking for technical issues, highlighting everything that we would need to pay close attention to, and keeping in mind all the quirks and desires he had picked up on from our time touring other homes. Josh is the only person in the world I could have trusted to view the home with us remote, and when our offer was accepted, he was just as excited as we were to find the perfect fit. When we had mortgage lender problems and our calls went unanswered, Josh stepped up and went to bat for us again. I know for a fact we would not have been able to buy a home without Josh, because of just how many times he was there to help us pick up the pieces, fight for what we wanted and needed, and all the while calm, collected, and ready for anything. Josh stayed in touch throughout the process and after, and now as one of our neighbors, I can't wait to repay the many times he helped us with summer BBQs and pool parties.
