We looked for a property from mainland, with Josh and Ilsa quickly arranging a video tour of the property competing with our real estate agents and their clients. I flew to Maui to see the property in person, and Josh cleared his schedule for me to do a thorough inspection of the unit. When making an offer hours later, my bank per-approval letter dropped through because the mainland bank found out last minute that they couldn't offer a loan in Hawaii after all. Josh stayed late, reaching out to his contacts on island to ensure my 24 hour trip wasn't in vain. I ended up applying for a new pre-approval loan to make the offer before other other buyers and we got the condo. When the previous owners left the unit after we purchased it, they didn't tell us the lockbox code as agreed upon. Josh paid out of pocket to have a new lockbox put on the door even though by the time he had already received his commission and could have simply disappeared.Talking to Josh, it was very apparent that he cares about Hawaii, the environment, his family, and doing the right thing. My wife and I were impressed by his work ethic, integrity, super quick communication, and having our best interests in mind rather than just making a quick commission.
