Moving from So. Cal to be closer to our granddaughter in Grover Beach (over 6 hours away by car) was our number one goal. It was a challenge during a very competitive market. While my husband and I were down south, both Jose and I were online looking for something, anything that was in our price range and it was a shock to see what some houses were going for. We gave him the general idea of what we were looking for but we were also trying to be flexible. There were a couple of times I would call him about a listing I found that didn't really match our requirements and he would travel over a half hour one way to take pictures and videos to show us, then drive back to write up an offer while we anxiously waited. Unfortunately, we were out bid on several offers, but Jose kept up a positive attitude and kept on looking. Fast forward a few months, now instead of sometimes going months without seeing our granddaughter, we happily only go days. Rick and I consider Jose and his wife our first friends in our new community of Santa Maria. Thank you Jose!
