Having been through the debacle with Countrywide, becoming an empty nester, and with retirement around the corner perhaps in the next 5 or so years, I made the decision to move forward, sell the big white-elephant home and downsize. This made perfect sense especially after receiving that interest-rate hike notice. I knew I would end up being house poor and realized I needed to get out from under this eventual weight on my back. I called my daughter who suggested our mutual friend Jon Villaescusa. What a phenomenal choice. The advantage here is I am familiar with Jon’s “real estate” family and background. He was been born and bred into it.
Jon Villaescusa knew exactly how to market and procure a sale for my home. He knew exactly what was required, what needed to be done and he made it happen.
When you sell a home you always have a little bit of remorse about letting go. Having Jon Villaescusa hold my hand and help me see a better future was a blessing. His professionalism and knowledge of the what the market is was reassuring. I relied heavily on his ability to know what to do and how to do it.
There is no question that perhaps the best personal quality as a real estate agent is his patience and responsiveness to your questions. He sets the standard high and goes above and beyond to answer questions no matter how trivial they may seem and always within a 24-hour timeframe.
Jon understands the emotional turmoil people go through with making this kind of “life-changing” decision and that in itself was a great comfort.
Thanks to Jon, my home sold without any issues and was a seamless endeavor. Thanks again to Jon Villaescusa, I was able to also buy a condominium and now have an adorable roof over my head that I call home. There is no question that I give him my highest recommendation. It doesn’t matter whether you are looking for a buying agent or a selling agent, Jon Villaescusa is the one to call.
