Coming into the process of buying a home is daunting to say the least. Especially with the lack of knowledge that I brought to the table. First time home buyer here! I knew nothing about buying a home. I honestly didn’t think it was possible. Jonah Wilson worked with me from start to finish. He was my realtor, financial advisor, teacher, therapist, all in one. In the beginning he walked me through what I needed to do in order to qualify for a home loan. Let’s just say I wasn’t the perfect candidate for a home purchase but he got me there. He gave me advice on what to do and not to do before , during and after the home buying process. I had to get rid of some debt and make some lifestyle changes to make this home purchase attainable for me. I looked at many places! Made offers on a few. Of course not everything panned out the way we had hoped but Jonah never gave up. He was always very communicative and encouraging. His many efforts and friendly reminders on everything I needed to get done never went unnoticed. Certain things were time sensitive and he made sure that those things were prioritized. This was my first home and I have been searching for over 5 years. Jonah was helpful in setting up a MLS search for me and contacting me about properties that may match my needs as well. Once I found the home I really wanted, Jonah worked with me to submit a competitive offer. After the offer was accepted, Jonah did a great job staying in communication with me, the title company, the homeowner's association, and the listing agents making sure that we were moving along within the projected timeline. The listing agents were not the easiest to work with, in my opinion, and Jonah (and his team) were extremely diplomatic and effective in working with them. Jonah also had great recommendations for home inspectors, termite inspectors, etc. so that I did not have to worry about searching for all of this in the middle of everything else going on. Jonah was always available by text, phone and email and would check-in often with all parties to make sure the buying process went smoothly. We ended up closing a bit before our projected timeline (as I had requested if it was possible), and everything worked out so well. Jonah was great to work with and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a personable, knowledgeable, and effective agent.
