John helped me and my wife find a new place to live in the Alexandria, VA area. We are relocating from out of state and were looking at properties that needed renovations as well as undeveloped land and tear down opportunities. During this time John was very helpful in providing guidance and advice and was very responsive to any questions or issues that came up. Since we lived out of town he drove around different parts of the area to get a feel for the different neighborhoods and the traffic patterns and was quick to visit any potential properties to evaluate whether they might meet our needs. He also coordinated closely with our builder and brought the builder to a few potential properties for a more thorough look until we finally found a property that met our needs. During this time I found John to be very transparent and honest, offering information and advice that helped us make an informed purchase decision. I never had a feeling he was pushing us toward a property to "make a sale" but several times actually steered us away from properties he knew would not work for us. I certainly recommend John to anyone looking to buy a property.

John has helped me with 4 homes in the last 4 years. He makes every transaction so easy and takes the hard work away from the buyer/seller. Last year, we wanted to downsize from our Vienna home and move to a waterfront condo in Reston. We also sold a rundown investment property and purchased another upscale investment property using a 1031 exchange. John sold our Vienna house and our investment property in a very short period of time and in both cases, the contracts we signed were both much higher than we ever thought we would get. John helped us find our new condo in Reston and used his experience to ensure that we won the bidding war over other prospective buyers without needing to increase our offer. Finally, John used his vast realtor knowledge to make the buying of another investment property using the 1031 exchange very simple and quick. What we thought was going to be a stressful period, was actually quite simple thanks to John. John is absolutely the best!

We have known John since he was recommended to us almost 20 years ago when moving from the west coast to Fairfax county. At that time he worked tirelessly to have multiple houses for us to see on the few house hunting trips we were able to make. He educated us on the plusses and minuses of the various communities and ultimately found us our dream home in Great Falls where we lived for almost 18 years. He told us at that time that he understood and that it might be a couple of years before we were ready to make the decision, but he still worked as hard for us as if we were ready to move that day. Fast forward almost two years exactly and John helped us find our new dream home in Leesburg. He was great throughout the process and handles all the things that add stress to the process. He and Kim also handled the sale of our Great Falls home - again handling all the tough parts so that the closing was seamless to us - and he got us well more than we thought we would get.
