John asked us questions to help us nail down what we were looking for in a new home, and more importantly, he listened to what we conveyed about our priorities. With these criteria in mind, we found a property that fit our needs. John was very patient during our viewings. We did not feel rushed as we explored the property for 45minutes before going inside to see the house! Nor did he seem to mind return visits, while we made sure that this was the house for us. Where John's skills were really evident was during negotiations. The Seller and his agent seemed to be adversarial throughout the process. We even withdrew from the offer at one point and returned a month later to revisit negotiating a purchase that could work for both parties. John's skill and creativity resulted in a contract that could be agreed upon by all. John remained professional and courteous despite the drama and game playing from the Seller's side of the table. He wrote up our contract to include language that would clearly represent our intentions and protect us during the implementation phase of the purchase. We are also grateful that John was available whenever we needed to ask questions or schedule inspections or "volley" amendments to the PA.
