I was referred to John by a friend who lives nearby and was selling a lot he had purchased a few years ago. I called John and a couple of hours later he stopped by my home. He brought listings of comparable houses that were currently on the market or were recently sold. He inspected the house and other than touch up painting said that any further improvements were not needed. He also recommended a septic inspection which I did and then I contracted to remedied identified problems. Based on the comparable properties it was pretty clear where we should price the house so John scheduled an open house the day after the house was listed. From that open house we received a full price offer from a qualified buyer and closed a couple of months later.
