John helped my wife and I buy our house and now sell our house. Both times was super easy. On the closing day of selling our house the smart thermostat wasn’t acting so smart. John found the original thermostat and installed it and even had to go to store to get wire strips to finish the installation. Would 100% recommend John.

I'm in New Hampshire and my elderly, recently-retired in-laws are in Port Charlotte, FL. My wife and I started working with John Perkins during a 5-day trip down there in May 2021 to get my in-laws situated in a home of their own despite the red hot housing market--a market that was nearly priced beyond their means. John, as a Suncoast-affiliated realtor, first alerted me to a 10/1 ARM that was more well-suited for my in-laws than the 30-yr Fixed product we were shopping for them. It allowed them to keep more of their modest nest-egg invested in their IRA, rather than distributed to taxable income and tied up in a down-payment. He spent the summer patiently showing them properties and shared frankly with them and us any issues he saw in properties that might carry unwelcome maintenance issues. He endured the frustration of one cancelled agreement in July (due to adverse home inspection issues) and he continued to keep us all informed of properties that met my in-laws' criteria. His relationship with Suncoast also made it easier for him to deliver and collect hard-copy documents that my in-laws were ill-equipped to transact online and which we were unable to assist with from up here in NH. This extra footwork John did with cheerful patience, from May until August, until the closing of my in-laws' new home purchase today (01 Sept 2021). John is a thorough professional and an all-around good guy. We are extremely grateful that he presented himself to us and we cannot be more emphatic in our recommendation of him as your realtor.

Down to earth, knowledgeable, professional and knows exactly how to achieve client’s desires. As a first time home buyer, this was a very new experience. But John was absolutely helpful! After seeing multiple builders it only took us one time to tell John exactly what we were looking for. From model size, to location, and design. After that, we would walk into a model home to speak with the builder and I would not have to say a word! He spoke directly with the builders what we desired, checked all the location sites for us, and the different model styles. Of course, he would confirm with us as we looked at models but it was such a smooth process the entire way. Absolutely recommended and what a wonderful experience, especially as a first time home buyer. To conclude, he would go the extra mile every time if we had questions or unforeseen circumstances. He did everything in his power to make the process stress free and keep us content throughout the entire journey. Thank you John!! Two thumbs up
