John has over 19 years' experience in the mortgage banking and real estate industry. He co-founded Homewood Mortgage in 2001 and served as vice-president until 2009 when he obtained his real estate license.
In 2012, John joined Solomon Edwards Group working as a senior project analyst on a forensic audit of one of the nation's largest financial institutions.
After completing this project, John returned to Dallas and teamed with Conner Cromeens at Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty to form The Source Group. Together, Jones and Cromeens have built a team focused on a shared vision of luxury service, community involvement and creative marketing.
John was appointed to the city of Dallas Zoning Board of Adjustment in 2017 by the Dallas City Council and has served as the vice president of the Lochwood Neighborhood Association since 2016.
