John Handschuh

I can’t thank John Handschuh enough for his outstanding service, dedication, and strong professional knowledge. My parents had recently passed away, and I was left to sell their 80-year-old house. To put it bluntly, the house needed some work before going on the market. John coordinated all the contractors and inspections and was always available to answer every question and guided me through the selling process with expertise and care. Once on the market, the house sold quickly at the asking price. If you’re looking for a phenomenal agent who understands the real estate market, I highly recommend John Handschuh.

John was very understanding and patient throughout this process. He made every effort to help us get across the finish line and kept us informed as we progressed.

John can be a little quirky, at least until you get used to him, but he prepared us for our first house sale (we're both in our 70's) and made everything very smooth. The house was originally on the market for about two days when we accepted an offer from a pre-approved buyer. Five weeks later their lender rescinded their loan offer, and the buyer was unable to secure alternate financing. This is an unusual series of events which hopefully doesn't happen to someone else. The house promptly went back on the market and was sold within two weeks, we went to closing five weeks later. All the intermediate paperwork was forwarded promptly to us by John, with clear explanations of what we needed to do. John explained each document and provided suggestions as to the pros and cons of any and all decisions we needed to make but at no time tried to sway us one way or another. Whenever there was an issue based on home inspections John was in the forefront of conversations, discussing issues with us and the inspectors directly. He even went to the house to video some electrical performance issues that were questioned by an inspector, to show compliance that the inspector didn't understand. We basically had none of the tedious tasks to do, John took care of everything. In total the house was on the market for less than three weeks in September/October, and it sold for our asking price, we walked away from the whole experience extremely happy with the service, effort and performance provided to us.

I have to say that John is a very conscientious respectful knowledgeable agent he goes over and above for his clients and even after he's done with the sails he still reaches out and encourages you to call him with any questions at any time no matter what John is a wonderful person and I look forward to doing more business with him in the future thank you for all your help this should be more people like you around thank you John

John went above and beyond to help us get the house ready for market, promote it to interested buyers, and to bring the deal home! The house had “character” but had not been recently updated. He helped buyers see the charm and potential. Very glad he was the realtor to make it happen!
