About John

After college at the University of Minnesota, he was commissioned an officer in the U.S. Navy and served ten years as a Naval Flight Officer in the EA-6B Prowler where he earned two Air Medals in recognition of his flights over Iraq and Bosnia. After serving his country he decided to join his parents at Six Lakes Realty in 2001, with the desire to carry on the family business. John’s wife, Julie, joined the firm as a buyer’s agent in 2014 and is now John’s partner and fellow Team leader. In June of 2020 Six Lakes Realty joined forces with Keller Williams Realty Diversified, giving the Six Lakes Team the horsepower of Keller Williams while still preserving a brand that has become synonymous with quality and service in Northwestern Wisconsin since 1978. John is highly involved with the local, state and National Realtor Associations, having served as the President of the Realtors Association of Northwestern Wisconsin, the Chairman of the Wisconsin Realtors Association and the Treasurer of the National Association of Realtors. He currently holds five real estate designations and thrives on giving back to the real estate industry and his community.
