I was so fortunate to have John guide me through my first time buying a home. At each critical step, he made sure I was aware of my responsibilities and took the time to answer all of my questions. His attention to detail is also unrivaled. John’s knowledge, relationships and attention to detail made for one of the smoothest home buying processes I’ve ever heard of. John took excellent care of us and found us a home that met almost all of our criteria within just a few months. He culled listings well and took us on thoughtful initial tours to understand our must-haves. With one of us being a first-time homebuyer, John patiently and thoroughly answered questions and was responsive day and night by email and phone. We ended up using his recommendations for both loan and title companies; while we felt those services could have been a little better, John stayed involved and was quick to intervene when we weren't getting the information we needed. We did not have the opportunity to negotiate much on our purchase price and were early in the season without many comparables, and in retrospect, we felt that we could have negotiated harder since we had a bit more time to look if we didn't get the contract. Still, John made sure that we understood what we were offering and accepting. I would not hesitate to use John again in the future--a wonderful person as well as a highly competent agent.
