Outstanding Real Estate Agent

John was referred to me by my previous RE agent who was out on a small personal leave. I was not disappointed! John was incredible in helping me with the difficult task of moving my very elderly in-laws out of the only home they've known for the past 60 yrs! They were extremely attached however due to just getting older they were no longer safe to live at home in New York while I was living in South Carolina. Once I finally got all of their things packed up and out of there I was left with a home that was in a little bit of disrepair and needed a lot of TLC to bring it up to selling standards. My time was very limited and John was able to procure all of the workers that I needed to help bring the house up to code and make it very presentable. It literally sold within the first weekend of showings! We had a lot of hoops to jump through since this was a house that was from the 60s so the paperwork was tricky with the town and there was lots of testing needed to be done in order to get everything up to code and pass inspection. It seemed like John had an answer for everything and was able to resolve every issue that came up! He got a guy that emptied it out, painted it, repaired the floors, power washed the deck, etc. I literally got them moved to SC on July 7th and had all of the work completed, house on the market by the 18th and an accepted offer on July 22th! We closed on Sept 30th, 2024. That is lightning fast for NY, LOL. If I had another house to sell in Duchess County I would not hesitate to call John DiDio because I know the house would sell quickly and he has the ability to procure a cleanup/repair crew very quickly!
