We both traveled to AZ in March of 2021, and looked at a few homes. We continued out of state in Illinois. John was knowledgeable in areas, and told us which ones to avoid. I was purchasing and closing on my home in March 2020, yes, the month COVID hit our country. I had planned, saved, and was executing on a dream I had been working on for five years. Obviously, my home search was difficult as the market had taken on an up-tick and I had been bid out by cash buyers offering above asking price on multiple properties. John found my home in the exact area I desired, gated community, mountain views, north/south exposure (important), corner lot (essential), in like new condition (bonus), and all within my price range. Although my offer was above asking price, the appraisal was grossly low, John negotiated the sales price to the appraised price. John was able to negotiate a seller credit...to me, for items disapproved on the inspection report. The COVID fear had me extremely uncertain of moving forward with worry the market would decline. John had long serious conversations with me, literally on escrow closing day eve, encouraged me to move forward with my five year long goal and purchase the home I loved. I am so thankful for his education, experience, and expertise in guiding me to do what I set out to accomplish and I now have tens of thousands of dollars in equity.
