John found our dream home. With very little notice and a very short time to look, John made himself 100% available and showed us several different homes and neighbourhoods over the course of 3 days. We did not really know exactly what we were looking for, but with every viewing he got a better understanding of what we liked and did not like. We first met John when we were looking for property on Siesta Key. He was a referral from another Realtor in St Pete's Beach. We contacted him the day we were heading from St Pete's and asked if we could meet. He not only squeezed us in but got us a great rate in a hotel on Lido Key. We gave him the specifics of what we were looking for and met him later that day to discuss the properties. He did a great job of resetting our expectations for what we could get in the price range we were looking. He made himself available through the entire time were there. He showed us many properties and right at the end of the search we found the right one. John gave us lots of information about Sarasota which help ed convince my wife this was a great area to be in. The next day we called John and said we wanted to make an offer. He met us at the hotel and we discussed the strategy for making the offer. I had a top end price in mind and even though I don't think John agreed with that price he helped shape the strategy to get there. After all was said and done we did get the condo for the price we wanted. John was very good through the closing process as well. We live in the north east and could not attend for the closing. He helped get an inspector to look the condo over and send us a report. There were some repairs that were supposed to be done and we asked John to verify that they had been done. He went in and videoed the condo showing the repair work had been done. Later when we were planning to go to the new condo I asked John for recommendations on furniture and bedding stores. He sent us a list of stores and even got us a discount coupon for one of the furniture stores. It was an excellent experience working with John. I will use him again when we are ready to move up in size.
