Joel was actually the realtor for the seller; I didn't have a realtor representing me as a buyer, as I was at the beginning of my search. After meeting Joel and benefiting from his knowledge of the house and neighborhood, I decided to put in an offer that day and, ultimately, was able to purchase the house.
