We got lucky. Joel was assigned to us by our relocation company, we had read nothing about him prior to meeting him. Joel met with my wife and I and helped us to focus in on what were looking for. He did a great job of managing the gap between our different sets of priorities. Joel helped us narrow down the neighborhoods to focus on, and showed us places that covered both my wife and my requirements, but leaning more one way than the other, so we could work through the tradeoffs. What I really appreciated is that Joel had an opinion and shared it, while remaining focused on what would make us happy. In the end we settled on a house that was our best fit, and then Joel negotiated a great deal. We got the house for significantly less than the home right next door that had sold a couple months earlier, and is as close a comparable as you can find. Joel is always proactive, flexible and professional in dealing with us. I say is, and not was, because even after our home closed Joel remains willing to help us by answering questions (or finding the right person to ask them for us). All in all a great buying experience working with Joel.

Joel made buying a home for our family of four a reality. When COVID hit we thought we would have to wait but he assured us now was the time. Once we had our pre-approval we made a list of our top 10 from the property lists he sent us.
