As many people know, the market was flying around like a balloon losing its air last year. There were ups and downs. I accepted an offer during a down, and had to buy during an up. Needless to say, I was in a pickle. Joe worked relentlessly to find me a house at an almost impossible time in our market's history. I was in Massachusetts, wanting so badly to move back to North Carolina. Offers were only good for what seemed like minutes and houses were only on the market for a day or two before the "sale pending" flag was on their listing. I've been on the phone with him while I was in MA and he was in NC, talking to him while he walked around a house and property telling me everything he saw that was good or bad. It seemed like there was no way, but he kept me calm, he made it work, and he found me and my sons the most perfect house! I would recommend Joe Powers to any buyer who needed someone to listen to them and to fight hard for them. He was honest with me, so very hard working, and non-judgmental about my weird requests. He is truly someone to lean on when it seems like you are alone.

Since I first met Joe Powers a good few years ago, I purchased several more properties with his guidance, help, and blessing, and made a substantial financial gain on each. There are only 5 stars in this rating, but I believe that Joe deserves many more - perhaps his own galaxy! Integrity, honesty, altruism, are the only words that can describe Joe accurately, both as a human being, and as a realtor.

We have known Joe for around 11 years but this was our first deal with him. The market made us feel uneasy at times but his expertise and knowledge of the market made us feel comfortable listing the home with him. Would definitely recommend and will continue to do transactions with him.

Joe did a Wonderful job selling our house! There was no work on us, Joe did it all! We have rentals and have sold other ones but never was it that easy. We can't say enough about how good he is. He will sell any other ones we sell!
