When we first moved to Atlanta in 2006, we were under a lot of time pressure. Jody White helped us to select a great house in Peachtree Corners that was within our price range. We’ve worked with her for all of our real estate transactions since then. When we decided to downsize from our house in Roswell in 2019, she pointed us to Academy Park in Alpharetta, a direction we never thought of or heard of that turned out to be perfect, except for one thing: We needed a loan to cover the time required for selling the 5000 sq ft ranch we were downsizing from. Jody had carefully researched the market telling us what she thought the place would sell for, and recommended we hire painting contractors to spruce our place up. During this time we got a call from a representative of a highly publicized realty company. Boy, was he mesmerizing. He showed us comps that indicated our house was worth a lot more than we thought, and told us any painting or repairs were not necessary. It took some hours of hard conversations with Jody to follow her logic and realize what was going on. Jody handles both buying and selling transactions - largely in our immediate area. The other guy was not accountable for selling houses, only for getting listings. As it turned out, he was blowing smoke. Even though the Horseshoe Bend house was near the top of the market (> $500k), it sold within 4 days. (That was the second time Jody pulled such a quick sale off for us in the 14 years she has been our realtor.) Never had a bad experience. Jody knows what she is doing, and I would not hesitate to recommend her.
