Joan was an absolute pro when it came to guiding us through the sale process, from setting a price to preparing for the showing, considering offers, and negotiating all aspects of the settlement procedure. Most importantly, however, Joan was extraordinarily sensitive to the emotional side of selling our house and leaving a wonderful neighborhood that we called home for 47 years. Her degree of patience went well beyond what you might expect from your real estate agent and made what we anticipated would be a difficult journey, actually enjoyable. Joan was incredibly available; for her, none of our questions were insignificant and none of our concerns were deemed irrational. In the end, when all of the papers were signed and the check was handed over, Joan actually thanked us and gifted us when we were the ones who held all the gratitude cards! It always was clear that our well-being was primary to Joan and no commission could sufficiently compensate her for the very genuine respect, kindness, and caring she showed us.
