This realtor seems to have a very thorough and somewhat lengthy screening process to even schedule a showing for rental a property. If you are the owner of the property, this is probably great news. Even if you are the potential renter, yes, it’s a little bit of a pain, but at least you know exactly what their expectations are right up front. Unfortunately, after you take the time to type multiple paragraphs to answer all the “pre-qualification” questions, you may never hear from him again. I totally get that maybe we weren’t within their tenant requirement perimeters, but even a one-line email saying as such is polite, and professional. I sent emails over a period of days asking if he could give an answer solely so I would know to cross the property off the list. Still never got a reply. It is what it is I guess.
